Great soundtrack... my family on my mom's side is from Arkansas...one time my uncle Thor...cant make this stuff up...got hammered and the sheriff showed up, and ended up in a tussle with my great uncle and pistol whipped him but my uncle was a badass mofo and wrestled the gun away from the cop and tried to shoot the cop but the gun was jammed because it got damaged on my uncles hard ass head and then he got tackled and mobbed haha made the paper
I liked it. There was some awesome kill scenes, but I think the premise was a little . Also full-disclosure. Never heard of it, but watched it because #VinceVaughn was in it. He needs to be in more stuff. Brawl in Cell Block 99 was an instant favorite of mine. Thoughts?
Clark Duke tried to do it all with Arkansas--write, direct, and act--and did all right. This small story that spans across a couple of time periods sees a southern drug operation start from nothing, turn into a small something, and transition across individuals. There are hints of Coen brothers' influences and some great individual scenes, but as a whole you can see some rough edges still there.
There is no shortage of customers in Arkansas.
