Like a beautiful picture book, the story of _Celle que vous croyez_ / _Who You Think I Am_ is not important, but the images are impressive and the voice telling it is intriguing. Director Safy Nebbou does a good job illustrating a tale that would've been more relevant 20 years ago, but art made out of cardboard is still art. The most satisfying aspect of the film, however, is the performance of Juliette Binoche who proves once again that she is still one of the most important French actresses working today and time has not diluted her talent. So many of her recent characters (including Isabelle in Let the Sunshine In) are two dimensional caricatures who bind her skills like a straight jacket. The depth of Clara and the range of emotions required here allow her to open up and give it her all. _Who You Think I Am_ was not made to be seen, but it is meant to be looked at at.
