This film is like staying in a beach hotel for a long weekend in a foreign country where it's misty everyday and you don't really do anything except have an extraordinary time. _3 Days in Quiberon_ is the true story of an interview accorded to Stern magazine by Franco-German actress Romy Schneider. It's a simple, unpretentious film whose subtle directing accords us an intimate look at the enigmatic actress and sheds a little light on the edges of the shadows of her tragic life. If you're a fan of Ms Schneider and/or want to witness the effect a director can have on a seemingly banal subject, this is the film for you. Also, special mention to Marie Bäumer for a performance as Romy Schneider that will no doubt garner her a plethora of much-deserved awards.
