Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer being the only thing on in the Christmas season felt like being held hostage. Seeing this every year felt like seeing an old friend. As rudimentary as the CGI is, there’s a lot of charm and passion to it. The jokes can win a warm chuckle. It feels like the people who made this cared and wanted to create a fond little memory for the kids who watched it, and they succeeded.
