This Photoreal CG blew my mind. I'm going through the films nominated for 90th Oscars Animated short, when a minute into this film I'm sure I've skipped on to a Live Action Short. I check my list, and, no, this is an animated short, so, now I know I have to do some research. YouTube has a video on the making of GARDEN PARTY, so I watch it and I am fascinated how all these images were created. Absolutely mind boggling. Beautiful colours, textures, quirky characters, whimsical vignettes and a diabolical underlying storyline. Well done! I give this film a 9 (superb) out of 10.
