Une vision hallucinante de l'Amérique contemporaine. La descente aux enfers d'un junkie qui devient braqueur pour obtenir de l'argent pour la drogue.

It's a bleak, fatalistic drug movie about petty criminals and the depths to which a junkie will stoop. It's done in the signature realism style of Gus Van Sant, and Matt Dillon delivers a dynamite performance.
Some heartbreaking performances here, and there's a pang in my heart seeing early-90s Portland.
This movie about drug addicts is Ok at best. As having been in close contact to real drug addicts, the depiction in this movie is mediocre at best. There are better movies depicting drug addiction more accurately, like Transporting, Blow, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas or the Wolf of Wall Street, just to name a few. This on his just OK, even if it has a few strong moments. Watch it without too high expectations.
Excellent movie. Worth it for William S. Burroughs' cameo alone. "I predict, in the near future, right wingers will use drug hysteria as a pretext to set up an international police apparatus." - Tom the Priest (William S. Burroughs)
Some to drugstore jumpers, drug addicts and philosophers.
