Nightmare fuel for the family. I don't know how Shelley Duvall funded this or how there are so many famous people - including many musicians who disappointingly don't perform any musical numbers - and I really don't understand how Disney greenlit the entire premise of this "children's" movie because it doesn't feel like it's made for kids... I mean, there's a BDSM torture dungeon scene and a bunch of references to really old movies. It's fun enough, just, really weird. Like if the videogame 'Toonstruck' was brought to life mixed with the 'Black Hole Sun' music video.
