Any rating above a 6 is exceptionally generous / questionable. You can watch the first ten minutes of the film, turn it off, go do something else, and you'll know as much about the plot as someone who makes the mistake of sitting it out to the end. Christensen, Newton, Leguizamo, and Latimore do their best to find something, _anything_, within the paper thin plot to keep the audience entertained. It's a shame that a promisingly eerie start is totally squandered on a total lack of plot.
Promising premise, ultimately let down by a very poor ending.
With a better cast (excluding Jacob Latimore, who's great) and a better script, this eerie suspense horror might have had a better chance. Instead, after viewing the film it will likely disappear from your mind forever.
Unloading the "Chevy" of all of those apples would have made pushing it as a jump-start way more easily accomplisheabal, don't you think? Otherwise, it's a great movie . I have enjoyed it thoroughly.
