Much deeper & more spiritual than the original Ong Bak or its successor, Ong Bak 2. Probably much more meaningful to its original target audience but a good movie. You'll have to wait 'til much farther into the film for the fight sequences, but there are some great scenes. The cinematography and musical score were great as was the acting. Overall a great movie even for American audiences.
