[Fantasia '25] It seems to be imbued with a certain spirit of the old pinku eiga (pink films) that developed in the sixties, which introduced erotic scenes into low-budget films to reflect a certain sexual liberation. But the queer perspective frees it from being exactly a pinku film, transforming it into a depiction of a fluid sexuality in which the characters are undefined, bringing it closer to the sexual ambiguity of underground cinema of the seventies. The visual aspect, which combines different tones and formats, captures the very essence of a story that aims to reflect the diversity (and melancholy) of a group of young people in Tokyo in the late nineties.
