Malcolm McDowell has been in some crazy stuff. This is another one. It's almost 3 hours, but it's hard to really know what happened.to make it that long. It's got some famous actors playing multiple parts, just to add to some confusion. Unclear whether that was to make sure they earnt they money, or some mysterious plot twist I missed. It's got Arthur Lowe in blackface. That's a surprise, and a little unsettling. It's got a band appearing in the middle at random places. I'm assuming that they were topical in 1973, but no idea now who they were. Frankly, I would advise that in the 3 hours of this movie, you might be able to watch two ordinary movies.
