"the Church of Christ Without Christ. Where the blind can't see, the lame don't walk, and the dead stay that way." I would say this movie is about false redemption. It doesn't matter if you blind yourself, if you wear barbed wire, or if you walk on rocks. It doesn't matter if you have your car pushed into a river, or if your church idea gets stolen by a snake oil salesman. When you wear a hat like that, you can't be redeemed. 4 ½ stars.
