Why was this in 3D? I remembered watching this in cinemas when it came out 10 years ago, and am still asking that question. It's a time capsule of the 3D obsession, where every movie at the time wanted to make you flinch. Anywhere, 'StreetDance 3D' may have the moves, but it's story and characters leave a lot to be desire. It's incredibly predicable where you see everything that's going to happen within the first couple minutes. However, the amount of talent on screen made the whole thing watchable. It's an interesting mix of both street dance and ballet that brought a raw energy to it. Also, I'm surprised to see Charlotte Rampling in this. It's crazy to think that someone approached her with a script with 'StreetDance 3D', and her response was probably like "yEs!". But man when end credits rolled and the song 'We Dance On' by N-Dubz played, all nostalgia came crashing back in. I use listen to it a lot while growing up and I completely forgotten about it until now.
