Synopsis
Portrait inédit de l’un des cinéastes les plus énigmatiques de sa génération. De son enfance idyllique dans une petite ville d’Amérique aux rues sombres de Philadelphie, David Lynch nous entraîne dans un voyage intime rythmé par le récit hypnotique qu’il fait de ses jeunes années. En associant les œuvres plastiques et musicales de David Lynch à ses expériences marquantes, le film lève le voile sur les zones inexplorées d’un univers de création totale.

A very good documentary about David Lynch. It is made in such a way that it feels almost Lynchien. If you like David Lynch and are interested in his films, this is worth a watch. 7/10

Well-made documentary about David Lynch’s _other_ career — as an artist. It’s all done via narration by Lynch’s himself, making this a very personal piece. Warning: This does not cover his filmmaking career; it basically ends as he makes Eraserhead.

It's a documentary for people that are interested in plastic art, more than anything. I loved hearing stories about his childhood and the ending when he gets into the making of Eraserhead is amazing. I wanted more of _that_.
