Totally meh. Not sure why this is held in such high regard. Nothing of interest here.

What an incredible movie. I loved the rhythm, the composition, the costuming, the poetic dialogue, the music, the way it starkly juxtaposes the vibrant joyous poor communities in the countryside at the fringes of a cold colorless faceless industrializing city center. Gorgeous movie.

Didn't sit right with me on a cultural level, and I'm not much of one for mythological retellings. It was colorful and I liked the historical location shooting, but I'll pass on the bulk of it.
