3 Thoughts After Watching ‘The Borrower’: 1. I wasn’t bored, but I was far from captivated. 2. The practical effects were surprisingly decent here. 3. The whole storyline with the cop and her criminal stalker guy felt very disconnected from the main plot.

Good: The gritty NYC backdrop and cinematography, some decent laughs, good effects (mostly). Perfect runtime. Bad: The cop storyline needs focus, and feels very disconnected. Everything starts out very strong and then sort of peters out.

Badly dated B-grade scifi horror from the days before CGI It might have been ok once, but i like a cheap wine, somethings don't get better with age Just find something better, and don't waste your time
