I thought the acting was first rate. The show is a bit if a slow burn, with a well cultivated sense of realism and uncertainty as to what is going on. It does pickup and get more interesting towards the end. However, it didn't really engage me, I didn't really come to care about the characters.

The vicious circle of mental illness or supernatural horror? I know what i'm opting for, but it's worth watching to find out for yourself. There's no easy answer, but the film draws you in as it blends fantasy with reality.

A cool mind-bending mystery. It's as much a cop thriller as it is a study of mental illness. Which it truly wants to be is where the lines get blurred and makes it as interesting as it is. Some good performances in it too.
