This near impenetrable Lynchian mystery is disappointing and probably not worth unravelling.

After Jena Malone no doubt felt abused by Sucker Punch and The Hunger Games, she continues her trip deeper and deeper into WTF. She began this trip with Inherent Vice, then continued with Neon Demon to end up at the Bottom of the World. This pseudo intellectual art piece tries hard, too hard, to imitate David Lynch, when everyone knows Lynch is inimitable. Hopefully Ms Malone has had enough of leaving audiences behind and will return to solid ground for her next role.
