if you have read the book before, you will miss things. But the recreation of the atmosphere, the characters and the spaces is wonderful. This director always manages to recreate very well that in his movies.
liked the setting, the silence of the lambs in Navarre, as they say, the resolution, not so much
What happened with the young nurse that was disfigured by the mother of Amaia? Did she survive the attack? Was she compensated for having to live the rest of her life with a molested face with junks of flesh missing? Anything in the book about it?
I really enjoyed this movie. A dark and sinister serial killer on the loose. Young girls go missing and an FBI trained cop is on the killer's trail. Family envolvmet, dark History in her home town, and a bitch of a mother doesn't make our Detective's job any easier. Worth a watch as part 1 of a trilogy. :thumbsup_tone1: Note, it rain's all the way through the movie, adds to the darkness and bleakness of the setting. Worth a watch. Looking forward to the next 2 in the Trilogy. :thumbsup_tone1:
The invisble guardian knocked at my door but I couldn't see him.
