Starts off with that whole “dangerous attraction” vibe, rich people, games, control, all of it feels stylish at first. The problem is, it never really goes beyond that surface. It keeps circling the same idea, manipulation, obsession, power play, but doesn’t add anything new to it. There are moments where it almost works, especially when it leans into the toxicity of the relationship, but then it pulls back or goes into predictable territory. It looks polished, has the mood, just feels empty underneath most of the time.
