I can only join the other comments about this movie. It was really really good and the ending song was dark and beautiful. I wasn‘t a fan of the first movie too because the pacement was kind of slow and the 2 hours were dull. The opposite of this movie.
I wasn't the biggest fan of the first Heaven's Feel movie (likely because it feels slow to someone already familiar with all the setup). But wow these movie took the challenge and went absolutely marvelous! There was so much detail and incredible action scenes and the story went into such depth about each character's motivations, and I could just go on and on about every little facet of this movie felt incredible. And yes it got very dark, very quickly.
If you suffer from PTSD on the subject of sexual abuse, you have been warned.
Overall, such an incredibly powerful film, I'm so glad that I got into the Fate/Stay Night series. ufotable has done a praise-worthy job of bringing this story to film.
Story is kinda popping off, but also kinda just weird. Animation is still great, tho this is definitely the most complex plot out of the three. I feel like I've completely forgotten that this was originally supposed to be seven heroes fighting each other for the Holy Grail. Truly simpler times.
Wow, what an amazing and touching episode of the Fate saga. Best 2 hours of Fate I have watched.
