Rip hulk hogan you’re be sadly missed
Could be the worst movie ever made!
This movie is basically a cheesy 80s action flick with Hulk Hogan trying to be a serious actor. It's like they took a wrestling storyline and slapped it on the big screen, complete with over-the-top drama and ridiculous villains. Hogan, of course, plays the hero, and he's got that classic Hulkster charisma. The bad guy, Zeus, is played by Tiny Lister, and he's seriously intimidating. Wrestling fans will probably get a kick out of the whole thing, feeling like they're watching a live-action version of their favorite feud. But let's be real, the movie itself is pretty rough. The acting is kinda wooden, the script is full of clichés, and some of the scenes are just plain hilarious in a bad way. It feels like they made the whole movie just to showcase Hogan, and the story itself isn't exactly award-winning. The wrestling scenes are okay, but they don't have the same energy as a real match. It's more like choreographed fighting than anything else. Overall, No Holds Barred is a guilty pleasure for wrestling fans. It's a fun time capsule of that era, but don't expect a masterpiece. If you love 80s action movies and wrestling, give it a shot, but don't be surprised if you don't watch it again.
So much sweaty redneck dudeliness. I'm not entirely sure there was even a writer for this movie, just "hey, you! Act tough and beat the crap out of this guy! Ok cut print next scene!" Its stupid mindless fun, sponsored by the WWF.
