I'm not one to bear a grudge, but if anybody had dared to ring me after seeing this film, I would have put a curse on them forever. (Probably by wearing a fright wig and crawling out of their tv)! Not a great film, but considering the age of the series now, it could have been a lot worse. Provided you don't try to overanalyse the mythos, you might enjoy it.

I really did not expect to like the Ring/Grudge crossover better than all the sequels to "Ringu", but that's exactly what happened. "Sadako vs. Kayako" is really a lot of fun. It helps that the film takes its story more seriously than one might expect. There are some scary sequences, but there is also time for a few humorous moments. When it comes to the actors, the filmmakers have also struck gold with one or two of them. Then again, it helps that the main characters are likeable. The actual showdown between the horror icons then comes perhaps a bit late and is not fully satisfying. But that didn't hurt my positive overall impression.

Silly little movie. Wish the actual fight was longer and intense. :p

Wtf is like the ring lol only bad

I'm not really impressed by the movie and the versus part was quite one sided. Kôji Shiraishi can do much better. I might also note that the English dub is awful.
