this movie did not get the fame and praise it deserves

Watching this before travelling to Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia

As a documentary filmmaker, Asif Kapadia has shown brilliance with Senna and Amy. When it comes to feature films, however, his efforts haven't always panned out. This is a prime example, a dull slog of a movie, failing to stir any of the passion that I'm sure was intended. Based on a classic piece of literature, I can only assume the book was better than this turgid melodrama.
