I was super sad when the show got cancelled, but this movie brought back the joy. I loved the characters since the very first minute, I cannot be happier with the ending, [spoiler] Richie and Patrick were meant to be together since their first date.[/spoiler] Thanks HBO for the series (but we deserved a few seasons more!)

I watched the series and the movie recently. I had no idea this existed until I scrolled past on social media the scene of Patrick first meeting Richie and thought it was so cute. While feeling a bit like a regular episode, extended a bit, it was nice to have a little closure on the will they won't they? And hang out with the guys for a little longer. A fun Sex and the City but gay kind of vibe to it. Also apparently the guy who plays Richie is on a new show, Task, where he plays a (heterosexual?) criminal. Still cute though.
