At its heart an interesting and topical high school drama. Sadly, a sluggish pace, dodgy acting and maudlin music score means this struggles to survive in the wake of similar films.

It's a good story in its core, but, frustratingly, it feels like the director was actively trying to make it into a cheap and cliché B-movie.
