Weak script. Poor acting. Can see what was attempted here. Especially around the emotional connection between CKD and his son, but the kid could not sell that. Neither could several of the supporting cast - Yugi Sethu and Kishore both had juicy parts but couldn’t really sell them. Everything is one-tone and feels like Panchatantiram at times which obviously doesn’t work for a serious movie. Kamal has probably the weakest character arc in any of the movies I have seen him in. Not his best work. Skip.
