One of the best accounts of the life of Jesus Christ taken from John's Gospel. Filmed in authentic locations with what I assume to be the correct language of the time, the story is told by narration as the life, death and resurrection of Christ is shown on screen with wonderfully effective actors. Considering the entirety of the Gospel is shown on screen the film is a long one. I watched it in segments and several times merely listened to the spoken narration without looking at the screen. The words washed over me and spoke to me as they should. A must for any believer and a useful way for non-Christians to get to know the story.
