Kajaki is unique in a way that it takes place in a very short timeframe- only a few hours in one day. There are no bad guys, just guys. It's gripping and emotional, and at a point very depressing. If you like war movies, watch this. But note that's It's not an action film, but a drama. It's up to you to decide if it's anti-war or not . But a good story it is. I recommend. Just be prepared for some heavy British and Scottish accent.

If you look for an action packed war movie - skip it. If you´re up for an intense war drama than watch. Absolutely gripping.

It's actually ridiculous how criminally underrated this film is. I was fucking fighting back the tears about five times.

A very graphic story, that really happened, that shows the dark side of war. An English group of soldiers in Afghanistan got by accident into a mine field and they are seriously injured one by one while trying to get rescued. While the story is really dramatic and terrifying for the people involved, I was wondering about how the British army is depicted. Are they really like that? They look and are dressed like clowns on laundry day and they talk like wannabe criminals in the pub after 5 or more pints. F*** this f***ing that. If that is really so, then it seems no wonder that such a lack of discipline and bad communication leads to disasters like that.
