>"I've gotta tell you, I love Paradise Misplaced. I still watch it with my girls." "Well, I hope you watch a DVD, and not one of those illegal websites." "Oh, I didn't know that was an option. I'll have to check that out." "About a Boy" solidified for me that Hugh Grant really is one of my favorite actors, so I threw this on next. It's actually quite a bit better than I was expecting. Sure there's nothing tremendously original here, but I found myself laughing out loud a lot, and even feeling some feelings. Hugh Grant's delivery is flawless, as always, but I was impressed at how well Marisa Tomei keeps up with him. And JK Simmons is hilarious. >"Ok, well, here's my thought, Billy. I know how much you love Star Wars, but I'm just not sure it's really gonna pass muster to just retell those stories and change some names around." "I didn't." "Well, you have a small, wise, greenish character called Zoda."
Well I really liked it - lots of funny moments, a nice story and Hugh Grant ... all good!
A very middle of the road, general movie. I turned it off because it just boringly plodded along.
The film was exactly what you would expect. If you were expecting it, great. I swear that Hugh Grant could do these in his sleep. follow me at https://IHateBadMovies.com
