I'm going to hold off on rating this because I missed the middle third due to a phone call. But am I wrong in feeling that the ending made no sense at all? I'm glad it didn't end up being the [spoiler]rapey end it pretended to turn into, but Betty Ann playing along with the Madagascar bit one more time, while actually doing the complete 180° that never before seemed part of her unhypnotised true feelings?[/spoiler] Isn't that way too much even for a Woody Allen comedy?

Some old fashioned comedy always cheers me up.

A fun movie. Not awful. I personally wanted more of the clever funny lines. A lot more. The story was all set up solid and the characters had a purpose, I just needed that dialogue to take it to another level, and it was just OK. It just needed more passion in the script. Where are ideas in the scenes that find the humour, or capitalise on the premise?. I had to focus on the enjoyment coming from just the story, so it has no replay value. Even the plot feels uninspired after an hour.
