So this one is rather strange. The movie is a loose fusion of short stories from the Fuan no Tane & Fuan no Tane+ manga which are each only 3-7 chapters long. Even knowing that you better not watch it for the plot. The story line of the characters we follow isn't a straight cut and only after time gets connected but it's not like this will explain much of it. It's better to just enjoy the weird imagery and vibe. As for the look you get low budget with CG ranging from passable to clumsy. The direction isn't anything special either but the atmosphere is done well and the fact that it's unpredictable makes it really fun. It's certainly more for fans of this sort of thing rather than people looking for a scary movie.
