Synopsis
Shlomo et Moses sont déportés dans le camp de concentration de Sobibor. Alors que les nouveaux venus partent directement dans les chambres à gaz, eux sont mis de côté car ils sont orfèvres. En effet, ils fabriqueront des bijoux pour les nazis. Parallèlement, un déporté de longue date décide de s'allier avec un chef de soldats russes afin d'organiser une rebellion...

Harrowing, true story. Excellent performances from everybody. Uneasy atmosphere. Good educational film on the horrors of the holocaust.

It's aged well, but is pretty hard watching because of the content. I'm not sure how dramatised the story of Sobibor is here. Definitely not light entertainment, but a very worthwhile watch (including the typical credits listing where people have gone over the intervening years) And also showed me that Rutger Hauer was once young.
