I found this to be really tedious and completely lacking in both characterization as well as romantic chemistry (between Mrs. Muir and both of the male leads, shudder.) Everybody felt miscast, with Harrison especially standing out as very much not a seaman (can't even maintain the accent all the way through a scene.) The misogyny got old real fast, and the whole idea just felt a little half-baked. Wasn't for me.
A romantic tale about a seafaring captains ghost and a widower.... lovely tale of ghosts and love. Glad I saw this film!
