Synopsis
New York, années trente. La famille Tempio se réunit pour pleurer un de ses membres, Johnny, qui vient d’être assassiné. Il y a là Ray, le chef du clan, qui n’attend que le moment propice pour venger la mort de son jeune frère. Il y a aussi Chez, l’autre frère, dévoré par une maladie mentale qui le rend incontrôlable. Ensemble, tous se souviennent de Johnny. Mais vient l’heure de la vengeance...

Funerals are existential by nature. I love how this film encompasses this with so many characters. This isn't an action movie... it is a deep examination of character and what "it all means" within a family that just happen to be gangsters. Loved it!
