A movie that wants to piggyback on the success of Mad Max but does not really reach the entertainment value of Mel and his crew. Apart from decent acting and pretty good fighting scenes, this movie does not really make much sense. Neither in a dystopian world nor in a real world does it make sense when people get themselves crippled and disfigured in order to survive, so basically get themselves killed to survive … For hardcore fans of the genre.
