Hey, Brad Pitt's first role. '80's TV movie about a prosecutor trying to charge southerners with reckless homicide, but the victimized Amish are weird and mysterious and won't help the law punish those who killed their baby. Silly movie where I learned about "claping" (pronounced "clay-ping") which is to throw rocks at Amish buggies because they are pacifists and won't fight back. Lots of townspeople argue that the baby-killers shouldn't be prosecuted because everyone does claping when they are young and it was just an accident. Weird townspeople. Perlman's acting is good, but this really isn't worth watching.
