****If you love a great romantic movie you don't want to miss this movie!**** All I can say for those of you who have not seen the movie yet.. Sandra and Keanu are fantastic together on screen. The chemistry is definitely there. This is a romantic/drama you will want to see again and again. i I have seen it a few times. I've seen "Somewhere in Time" and I think this tops that by far. Don't miss out on some truly wonderful acting. I watched "Speed" released in 1994 12 years ago, which was the last movie these two starred in to be prepared for the development I knew I would see on screen. They both proved equal to the task. I laughed, I cried and left the theater totally satisfied. It was well worth the wait. I wish these two could do more film projects....together, they definitely seem comfortable with each other. My Score: 8/10.
Such a beautiful story. Love the concept.
I don't watch romantic movies that often. It's a genre that I tend to avoid because I can't be bothered with the sapiness, the cheesiness, the tackiness of the whole thing. Yet, somehow, _The Lake House_ managed to pierce through my manly wall of zero feelings and melt my heart and get my eyes extra wet. Huh, I mean, it's obviously the sci-fi nuance holding this cheesy romance together that got me hooked. Obviously.
I loved this movie!!!! I watched it for How Did This Get Made (I can't wait to listen to ep, not sure how they could hate on this) by the end it had me BIG TIME. Loved it. Loved it!
I've had this on my list for years because of the time lapse element, but I kept avoiding it because I'm really not a fan of romance films. Expected it to turn out heartbreakingly sad, but it's a lovely movie and I'm glad I finally got to it. 8/10
