Yeah, I’ll say it. Great movie and tremendous acting, but that horse falling into the river looked really silly.
I wish there was more dialogue to give the viewer a little more connection to the characters, but the cinematography, setting, and overall storyline still manage to move and captivate regardless!
It was overall an okay movie. Definitely it could've been shorter, some scenes just lasted too long and were boring, but in general I think it's an important movie to see and some moments were funny/touching/emotional/beautiful/inspiring.
Braveheart is a film built to move you, and it succeeds. The story drives forward with momentum and scope. There’s weight to the violence and a clear sense of what’s at stake. What elevates it is not just the incredible characters, but how effectively it earns its emotion. The story is simple, but it’s told with conviction. It fully commits to its vision and delivers an experience that is both impressive and engaging.
