Synopsis
En 1875, Matt Calder, un ancien repris de justice veuf, vient chercher Mark, son fils âgé de neuf ans, dans un camp de chercheurs d'or. C'est Kay, une chanteuse de saloon, qui avait pris l'enfant sous son aile. Contraints de fuir les Indiens, l'homme, la jeune femme et le fils se retrouvent à descendre sur un radeau fragile une rivière quelque peu mouvementée.

A special Western with two of the mega stars of that time. It feel a bit like “Deliverance” meets John Wayne, with the charming Marilyn on top of it. A movie that has evolved into being a hidden gem of the genre and which is still entertaining to watch today, after 70 years.

The director is good, the main actors too, but here they didn't feel like it, the film is weak. We remembered her better
