Good movie... I usually complain sequels are just cheap copies of the original; Love Song is very different from the original, probably would have worked better as an original movie and not a sequel. Score was not perfect as the first one! And since you already watch the first one you are kinda expecting similar story but it’s not, so at first I thought the pace/flow of the movie was slower than expected and sometimes Yuki at times looks like a side character. Good story and nice action in the end.
Decent follow-up. It's not as dynamic or have the visual flair of the original, but there's still some cool action. The plot doesn't seem to serve the character well though, as she seems out of place and it seems like an implausible turn for her to make the decisions she does. It's cool to see her further adventures.
I really enjoyed the first part of this two-part series, and this one does not disappoint, even though it's, story-wise, more muddled than its predecessor. The cinematography is wonderful though, and even though the music disappoints some in comparison with the first film, this is still a very good action movie and films of today should learn from this duology, especially in terms of feminism, anarchy and capitalism; that's sublimely weaved into this film.
