Like so many good movies, this one can be watched on several different levels (as stupid as this may sound, I had the same sentiment while watching Barbie). At different times I was questioning my politics, philosophies, relationships, etc. And the acting is extraordinary. I also very much enjoyed the interludes with people that knew the real characters. If there was a down side to the movie, it is that biographies do not always make for great entertainment. They told the story and told it well, but it did feel like a long three hours. follow me at https://IHATEBadMovies.com or facebook IHATEBadMovies
Magnificent performance by Keaton, strong and vulnerable, and a host of other fine supporting actors. These type of large epic films aren't usually my cup of tea, but this one excels at teaching me something about two people I didn't know and I love that it was made at the height of the Cold War and the nascent Reagan administration.
It is a narcissistic vehicle, unjustly rewarded
