Synopsis
Gilbert, petite cité texane, est célèbre dans tout le pays pour sa maison close, la « Cage aux Poules », établissement tenu par la plantureuse Miss Mona. Un jour, Melvin Thorpe, journaliste de télévision, entend dénoncer, dans une émission, l'illégalité d'une telle maison. Mais il aura fort à faire avec Ed Dodd, le respecté shérif local et amant de Miss Mona.

This has to be the best movie of Dolly Parton and Burt Reynolds,great story and brilliant song's and acting, watching this again to pay respect to Burt Reynolds who passed away today,rest in peace Bandit!!!!!

80s camp at its finest! I love this movie. Dolly Parton and Burt Reynolds have great chemistry and really make it a fun time. The music is fun and will get stuck in your head. I mean who doesn't love a musical set in a whorehouse in TX? Throw in a vampy madam, a "crooked in a good way" cop, his good ol' boy partner, and a couple of bumbling idiot antagonists and you have a classic.
