Best movie of blues ever!
It's a guitar-playing Karate Kid.
Nice, but the final battle makes this film memorable. Incredible scene with the unique and original Steve Vai. 6/10
Cool movie, if you like blues you should consider watching it. Good enough for a movie night, but too much wasted potential in my book. At the start I was expecting a coming of age movie and it kind of delivered. It collapses on itself towards the second half. And the ending? It negates all what came before it. Doesn't really make sense to me. Still, I'd watch it again sometime. Would definitely enjoy the hell out of it in the unlikely situation someone somewhere decided to remake the whole thing with a young actor who can actually play the blues.
