If you want a predictable sequel to a mediocre B grade SciFi, then this should be on your list. But sadly, I wasn't, and can't get that 90 minutes back. Darn.

The sci-fi/horror film _Screamers: The Hunting_ continues the adventure and takes the series in a new direction. The story follows a military rescue ship that is sent to the mining planet Sirius 6B in response to a distress signal, and arrives to find a group of civilians embattled with a new cyborg variety of Screamer intent on exterminating all life. The acting is pretty mediocre; except for a cameo from Lance Henriksen. However, the special effects are fairly good for a B-movie (though some the CGI use is rather apparent). _Screamers: The Hunting_ brings a new level of terror to the series and delivers an entertaining film with some good thrills.
