I guess I'm the oddball that prefers this one to the previous entry. It was more madcap like the 70's Muppet films and I found the introduction of Constantine a lot better than the generic "Walter" we received in the previous film. Overall, a satisfying and fun film. I personally loved the music as well. "We're Making a Sequel", "The Big House", and the "Interrogation Song" were all lots of fun.
Muppets Most Wanted was fun, though perhaps not quite as good as the previous Muppets movie, or at least what I remember of it. While it was still chock full of cameos and jokes, I didn't like any of the songs as much with Interrogation Song probably being my favourite, though it definitely didn't hold a candle to Life's a Happy Song. And hey, they did say it wasn't going to be as good as the first one right at the start so at least it's honest~
The musical numbers in this are honestly great. Constantine is my hero
It’s a goofy follow-up that has some fun moments, but it doesn’t have the same emotional pull as the first one. The jokes are still very Muppets, but the whole thing feels a little more forgettable.
> "What, you mean you actually like this show now?" This sequel actually felt a little darker and more directed towards adults than the first one. I actually laughed at some of the more subtle jokes. Ricky Gervais and Ty Burrell were a good choice.
