[VdR '25] Playing with narratives and genres, this meta-narrative docu-fiction is a lighthearted, yet never superficial, take on the growth of a transgender girl. It eschews the usual dramatic portrayal to embrace a fun and colorful tone that manages to convey a youthful energy. Ultimately, however, the film demonstrates that the path toward gender transition doesn't have to be solitary, but rather collective, like the film itself, which tells the story of a girl who has been building her own personal journey from the foothills of Tepozteco Hill to conquering the world with her story.
