The consequences of war. Great visual representation of what happened during the hombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. War sucks, this was more of a dramatic movie than anything I’ve saw. Losing your family to war is no joke. 10/10 would recommend.
Oh look, a movie along the lines of Grave of the Fireflies. *after the movie*
Oh God, this is more traumatic than Grave of the Fireflies. Death of siblings/children (multiple), death of a parent. trying to reassemble normality, death of almost everyone around you, visual descriptions of radiation during the bombing and then the aftermath. I did expect Gen to have more immediate symptoms of the atomic bombs and radiation poisoning, but otherwise a good movie about the horrors of war.
