Even though I liked both main characters, the story was really weird. I mean, what was the head of security's problem? And who was that guy with the mask, anyway? 🤔 I'm confused.
[Berlinale '25] More balanced when it reflects on exhibitionism and the power of representation, which in the characters ends up crossing the limits of the stage to infect their private lives. The search for exhibitionist sex practiced in public places also requires the presence of a third gaze, that of the spectator, which places this desire to be seen on a level parallel to that of acting in theatre or cinema. The camera thus becomes a voyeur but also a participant in the encounters between the two protagonists. And the contrast between the exhibition sheltered by night and the dissimulation that occurs during the day is a way of breaking down the margins between reality and artifice.
