Ici, on s'éclate !

I ended up ordering this one as well during the most recent Lionsgate Limited sale. This is a gorgeous steelbook and a really great transfer. I actually enjoyed this more than I remember. It’s like a more tame raunchy comedy. I kind of liked that they focused more on the kids and good hearted comedy. It’s pretty funny with some good one liners. I really like the summer camp setting. The characters are really fun, enjoyable and likable. It’s not a laugh out loud comedy but I chuckled plenty. I miss movies like this. It was a lot of fun revisiting this decade again. * Lionsgate Limited Steelbook
A good, uplifting comedy with a serious edge. It depicts a group of underdogs and their camp leader who have to overcome themselves in order to win a competition against a rival camp. Good entertainment.
Sort of the forgotten Bill Murray comedy. Most of the comedy comes from Bill Murray's Tripper and his wise mouth and antics, but it just emphasizes his talent. Memorable, quotable, and filled with unexpected heart. Are you ready for the summer? Are you ready for the sunshine? Are you ready for the birds and bees, the leaves and trees, and a whole lot of fooling around?
The mother of a whole saga of camp comedies.
